Ruby's ideal home
Ruby is a super sweet, older lady. She is looking for her retirement home where she can spend the rest of the days napping, eating and having cuddles. Ruby is looking for a quiet adult only home, where she can just potter about and go for little strolls outside. Ruby can live with another dog in the home, but they would have to match her energy. She will happily go up and say hi to another dog but then will take herself away and do her own thing. She is an independent girly. She wouldn’t enjoy living in a home with a very bouncy dog, so another older dog would be ideal. Ruby does struggle when left, she does get quite vocal and distressed. So, time left alone would need to be built up gradually and only once she is settled in the home. Ruby is an older lady, so she doesn't need a lot of exercise. A short walk and a nice garden for her to explore would be perfect. Even though ruby is getting on in age she definitely doesn't always act it! She can be sassy when she wants. She is currently in foster with two other dogs and she likes to put them in their place and be the boss of the house. Ruby travels well in the car, is good in the vets and loves attention.
