At eight years old, Piggy is a wonderfully friendly and endearing companion who is searching for a calm, understanding home where life moves at a gentler pace. He would thrive with adopters who enjoy steady days and relaxed routines, ideally in a familiar residential area, small town or on the outskirts of a city. A home where he can eat in peace and enjoy short strolls on quieter routes would suit him perfectly. Piggy will need patient, compassionate people who are happy to continue his training, particularly with car travel and his slight lead pulling, and who are comfortable helping him with regular ear cleaning. He could happily live with sensible secondary-school-aged children and would enjoy having visitors come round he could play with.

Piggy is a sociable, affectionate dog who truly enjoys the company of both people and other dogs. He warms up quickly in familiar surroundings, happily seeking out fuss and contact once he’s comfortable. In a calm and relaxed environment, his affectionate and loving nature really shines through.
