Gizmo's ideal home

Gizmo is a sassy Shihtzu who is on the search for her new family at 11 years old. She isn't one for young children but could live with sensible secondary aged children. Gizmo has previously lived with other dogs and could do so again, pending a successful mix at the centre. Being a mature lady, she will prefer dogs that have a similar laidback temperament. While we have no history of Gizmo around cats, she does have the potential to live with them, pending successful scent swaps. This would be in a home that can take introductions gradually, with the ability to keep them separate at first.

Gizmo has come into our care after a change in circumstances in her previous home. She is able to be left alone for a few hours and has a good history of travelling in a car but does need a helping hand getting in. Gizmo will benefit from a housetraining refresher in her new home. She loves showing off her tricks (especially if there's a tasty treat to hand!) and her go to is "spin". If Gizmo makes you feel giddy, then add this girl as a favourite.
