Buster's ideal home
Buster is a sweet 4-year-old Shih Tzu cross who came into our care as a stray. He spent some time in a home where he was mostly housetrained, though he may need a little refresher as he settles back into home life. Buster forms strong bonds with his favourite people and can find it difficult when left alone, so he’s hoping to find adopters who are home most of the time and can gradually help him build confidence with being left.
He can feel a bit overwhelmed when it comes to sharing his things or too much handling, so Buster would be best suited to an adult only home with patient adopters who can understand his worries and help him overcome them. He’s very food motivated, which is great for continuing his training.
Buster is a social boy who enjoys the company of other dogs. He’s happy to share his space and walkies with them, so we feel he could live with another friendly dog in his forever home. He loves playing with his toys and, even more, curling up on the laps of his favourite people for fuss and affection.

Buster does have some ongoing medical needs that may continue throughout his life. Our team at the centre will be happy to discuss these with any potential adopters. Despite this, Buster doesn’t let anything slow him down, he loves getting out and about, exploring, sniffing and enjoying new adventures.
